Created entirely by hand In my Art Studio in Florida.  Douglas Snider is an award winning  wood sculptor/carver. For art pieces that are more suited for conditions of the harsh environment outside he recommends, metal, fiberglass/resin or concrete for exterior art.  Doug is an entrepreneur and replicates many of his original wood sculptures using molds and then replicating them with fiberglass and resin, clear casting resin or concrete.  Some of our marine wildlife pieces are made from clear casting resin with curios and funny animals inside and then lit up with LED lights.

In this case he carved the original Cow Ray (there are several different species of Ocean Rays) and coat it with epoxy resin.  I make a mold from the original. I take the mold and construct the new piece out of fiberglass, 5 pound expansion foam and resin. I pull it from the mold, prepare the piece for painting and then decide what scene to put on the back of the ray like a paint canvas.  I can have any scene you desire custom painted  on your Ray if you wish to order one to your personal needs, if you can send me a drawing or photo.

This piece is fiberglass, Resin, 5 pound expansion for to make it solid.  We can also make your piece face right or face left with your preference.  Some times we had both with different scenes, in stock.  Drop us a line.

Custom Automotive Candy Blue with metal flake base for color. (photos don’t do this piece justice)  This paint scene starts deep in the ocean showing coral, a loggerhead sea turtle, and a pair of porpoises swimming.
